Designed especially for neurobiologists, FluoRender is an interactive tool for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy data visualization and analysis.
Deep brain stimulation
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.

Background

I received a B.E. in Telecommunication Engineering at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2018. Before joining SCI, I was a PhD student at Rutgers University, working on middleware support libraries used by simulation codes.

Current Responsibilities

I am primarily working on the DataSpaces project (www.dataspaces.org), a data management framework for in-situ scientific workflows at extreme scale. Additionally, I am working on extending Kokkos programming framework to workflow level and developing in-situ workflow for GPU-MURaM (Max Planck University of Chicago Radiative MHD) code.

Research Interests

  • Large scale data management for heterogeneous in-situ workflow
  • Portable HPC programming model
