I received a BS in Geology from Utah Valley University and worked as Lead Exploration Geologist for a private mining outfit in the Henry Mountains of Southern Utah before transitioning in 2018 to Web Development and Information Technology through various informal institutions such as Udemy and VSchool along with many hours of self-taught skill acquisition. Additionally, I have trained and coached rock climbers (adults and children) for 10 years and work part-time as a Personal Instructor. I am beyond excited to contribute and learn from the faculty and staff here at SCI.

I am currently acting in a IT Specialist capacity with the additional task of rebuilding and optimizing the internal SCI website.

Computer automation, AI and data science are my primary interests though I also enjoy tackling user experience and design issues.
