supervisor Dr. Manish Parashar

I received a B.C.S and B.S. in Mathematics at Calvin College in 2006, and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from GVSU in 2016. Previously, I have been working as a Research Software Engineer at Rutgers, developing middleware support libraries for use by simulation codes.

Current Responsibilities

I am primarily working on the DataSpaces project (, a data management framework for in-situ scientific workflows at extreme scale. Additionally, as part of the Whole-Device Model project (, I am working on workflow scripting and coordination middleware.

Research Interests

  • Large scale data management for in-situ workflow interactions
  • Flexible workflow coordination and composition
