Designed especially for neurobiologists, FluoRender is an interactive tool for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy data visualization and analysis.
Deep brain stimulation
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.

supervisor Dr. Amir Arzani

Background

Current undergraduate senior completing a degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in aerospace engineering. Very dedicated to learning and adapting quickly and efficiently while being able to perform exceptionally under any circumstances. Enjoying many aerospace topics such as jet propulsion, aircraft design, and aerodynamics.

Current Responsibilities

Currently working with Dr. Arzani on stroke research and computational fluid dynamics. I create 3D model renderings of CT data. I then perform computational fluid dynamic simulations on the 3D models to specific criteria. Lastly, I study identifiable patterns from the simulation data.

Research Interests

My research interests are aircraft development, aerodynamics, and propulsion. I am interested in prototyping drones and aircraft designs. I am interested in aerodynamics along the lines of finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics for aircraft bodies. Lastly, I am interested in jet and propeller propulsion.
